Built from a Solid Foundation...

In 1944, founder Al Corriveau used his severance pay to begin a new business, hand pouring concrete blocks which he sold from door to door. Joined shortly thereafter by Leon Routhier, this partnership launched five stores within 30 years and grew to become the largest masonry supply company in Northern New England.

Today, the firm remains a family-owned business that is proud of its emphasis on service; in fact, says President David Corriveau, "We've established our reputation based on quality and service more than anything else."

Corriveau-Routhier stocks between 500 and 600 varieties of ceramic, marble, and granite tile all the time. This IN-STOCK feature of New Hampshire's largest tile and masonry showrooms is a big plus for the homeowner and contractor alike. Along with brick, granite, natural and cultured stone, C&R stocks an extensive line of fireplace and masonry materials.

As the founder, Alphonse J. Corriveau, expressed, "Our goal, when we began in 1946, was the pursuit and insurance of unexcelled quality and the maintenance of the tradition of masonry excellence. We have never wavered. Our standards remain intact and they have endowed us with the hallmark which continues to set us apart from others in times of conformity and frequent mediocrity. Family members David Corriveau (president), Nancy Gorczyca (office manager), Lynda Lubelczyk (advertising manager) and John Corriveau (purchasing manager), along with their dedicated experienced staff, continue to further Al Corriveau's vision, spirit and industry.
